4th of July Weekend at Cedar Point
Cedar Point, Sandusky
Special entertainment, delicious meals and money-saving deals will be available all weekend long. Visitors will have a few extra hours to enjoy all of their favorite rides and roller coasters, as well as two incredible nights of fireworks. Saturday July 2 – Monday July 4th, Cedar Point is offering free admission for all active, retired and honorably discharged members of the Armed Forces with a valid military ID. Men and women of the Armed Forces can also purchase discounted tickets for family members. Please see website for details.

Independence Day Celebration

Mill Street Riverfront, Downtown Oak Harbor
The Oak Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to join the community in celebrating our Independence, on Sunday, July 3 along the Portage River, in downtown Oak Harbor. Gates open at 5 pm, and there will be lots of food, entertainment, giant inflatables, a duck race, kid’s games, 50/50 drawings, and a beer tent. The night would not be complete without the sky being illuminated with a fireworks display!

Fourth of July Festivities
Lakeside
Fourth of July festivities kick-off with the Children’s Bike Parade at 10 am in Perry Park. Following the parade will be the Fourth of July Float. There will also be a concert in Central Park, featuring the Central Ohio Brass Band. At 9:45 pm, or dusk, fireworks will offer a spectacular finale to the day.

The island business owners and friends of the Bay will sponsor a fireworks program at dark. Fireworks will be over the downtown harbor. Great view from the memorial and surrounding lawn. Bring a chair or a blanket.

This is a family-friendly holiday event. There will be a parade, children activities, concession stands and more. Musical entertainment will be provided by Vacationland Band, Erie County O.S.U. Band, Sandusky Junior High Band, Sandusky High School Band, Margaretta High School Band and SMCC High School Band.
